The 2020 hurricane season is upon us and as of the date of this publishing, we have already had one named storm (Arthur). As we focus our attention on a safe and healthy reopening of our country, it remains important that we remember to make the necessary preparations for the upcoming hurricane season. An above average season is anticipated with forecasts of 13-19 named storms, of which 6 to 10 could become hurricanes and 3 to 6 major hurricanes (category 3 or higher).
