Your policy can vary depending on your specific needs. However, the majority of Homeowner policies provide coverage for the building structure, loss of use, personal property and personal liability coverage. Importantly, most policies will require you to schedule personal property separately and will not cover water damage. Flood is not covered by your HO3 policy. You will be required to purchase a separate flood policy.

James, a native of St. Augustine, is very familiar with St. Johns County’s transformations over the last 25+ years. He earned a BA in Communications from the University of Central Florida and loves cheering for his alma mater; Go Knights, Charge On! He is also involved in local sports radio and for nearly 20 years, has been the radio play-by-play announcer for St. Augustine High School Football. James earned his 2-20 Property & Casualty license in 2020 and brings over 15 years of experience in customer service to Thompson Baker. In his spare time, James enjoys being outdoors, listening to live music and spending time with his wife and two children.
Dennis grew up in Iowa and graduated from Iowa State University before moving to St. Augustine to be closer to his children. He joined ThompsonBaker in 2024 and holds a 4-40 Customer Service Representative License and has over 30 years in sales experience. In his free time, he enjoys boating, golfing, and spending time with his family.
Brooke joined ThompsonBaker Agency in 2022 and currently holds a 4-40 Customer Representative License. With over five years of experience in the insurance industry, she brings strong customer service and industry knowledge to her role. Brooke earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminology from Flagler College in 2018, where she was a dedicated member of the Women’s Soccer team for all four years. She continued her education at the University of North Florida, graduating in 2020 with a Master of Science in Criminal Justice. Outside of work, Brooke enjoys spending time at the beach, going to the hot Pilates, and reading.
